The disclosure includes all completed licensing processes for commercial betting operations. To comply with data protection legislation, sensitive personal information and confidential details will be redacted before publication. The Ministry of Finance is collaborating with the Comptroller General of the Union to accelerate this procedure.
World Cup Oversight
Daniele Cardoso confirmed that monitoring actions are being strengthened ahead of the FIFA World Cup. Authorities are coordinating with public prosecutors and consumer protection agencies to ensure compliance with Law No. 14.790/2023. The focus remains on advertising standards and responsible gaming rules for betting platforms.
This release reverses a previous decision that imposed a 100-year secrecy period on betting data. Minister Durigan stated that the government intends to avoid withholding information from the public.
