Delaware North launched Ember Casino, its new flagship iGaming platform, across New Jersey on June 16, 2026. The rollout operates under a digital skin license with Caesars Atlantic City to satisfy state regulatory requirements.
The platform replaces the company’s legacy Betly brand and runs on Playtech’s infrastructure. Ember Casino provides a selection of modern slot titles and live dealer table games, alongside BetBuddy, a responsible gaming monitoring tool. Jason Gregorec, president of gaming for Delaware North, noted that the platform combines digital and physical venue operations to support long-term growth in regulated markets.
Market Landscape and Regional Rollout
New Jersey ranks as the third-largest iGaming market in the United States, recording over $2.91 billion in player losses during 2025. FanDuel and DraftKings lead the sector with gross gaming revenues of $655.5 million and $569.7 million respectively. BetMGM, Borgata, and Caesars Palace Online Casino follow with $376 million, $252.7 million, and $203.6 million.
The state hosts 28 licensed online casino brands, with Spin Palace generating under $6 million in annual revenue.
Delaware North plans to introduce Ember Casino to additional regulated states later this year. The company currently operates two properties in West Virginia, Mardi Gras Casino Resort in Nitro and Wheeling Island Hotel Casino Racetrack, both located in a jurisdiction with legal online gaming. The operator will migrate its existing Betly iGaming service in West Virginia to the new platform over the coming months.
